Nadine Norris, O.D.
Dr. Norris has been at the helm of Central Coast Optometric Center since 2002. She graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry (now Marshall B. Ketchum University) in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Norris completed externships at two Veterans Administration Medical Centers and the Southern California College of Optometry Eye Care Clinic, as well as the Low Vision Institute in Las Vegas and the Blind Children's Learning Center in Santa Ana. She completed a research project on multifocal contact lenses that was published through the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Norris enjoys the medical side of optometry, including helping patients with cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye, allergies, glaucoma, eye infections and foreign body removal. She also fits regular and difficult to fit contact lens patients. Dr. Norris sees patients from 6 months old to 107 years young. She is a member of the Tri-County Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
In her spare time, Dr. Norris is chauffeur to her daughter, who is involved with many activities. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and cats, reading, camping, traveling and bike riding.
